Amazing getaway with gorgeous views!
The rooms were super comfy, and we loved the scenic views from our suite. Dining was a highlight too, our dinners had fine presentations. Only thing was, the check-in process was a bit slow, but overall, it was totally worth it!

Location and design
The bar closed at 11:00p.M. on Friday night, July 29 (August 1st, civic holiday weekend). Midnight would have been a better time, for those of us wanting a nightcap.

Enjoyed the quite scenic surroundings
With so few people in dinning room there could have been a hot cooked breakfast instead of a luke warm, nothing special buffett.

It was just a decent option for a brief hiatus in Goderich with good value for money. The air conditioner helped keep the room comfortable during humid weather, a plus. Future visitors should consider bringing their own water bottles, as tap water is only available in the bathroom.

The countryside is beautifull. It is quiet and peaceful. Goderich and Bayfield are a short drive and have shopping and great beaches. The restaurant is lovely. The staff were most helpful and friendly throughout our stay. Our room was very comfortable. We really enjoyed our stay and will definitely return.

The grounds are beautiful and the restaurant has a great atmosphere.
The hotel is very dated. Our room was very small and it had a loud window air conditioner that wasn't turned on before we arrived. For the price and the reputation we were expecting luxury and what we got was mediochrity. I would not go out of my way to stay here again.

a perfect spot for city strolls and beautiful parks
I had a blast exploring the nearby Falls Reserve Conservation Area and enjoyed the beautiful gardens. It reminded me of a weekend getaway in a charming city with every attraction just a short walk or drive away from the hotel. The spa treatments were wonderful.

Dinner and breakfast were both excellent. Staff well mannered and professional, there when you needed then but out of sight at the same time. Grounds / facilities were lovely but timing and weather were perect on our visit. Spa facilities were very nice but did not use. Will definetly go back when we have more time to enjoy the facilities.
Some of the rooms are dated / tired. We upgraded from standard room ($119) to deluxe room ($299).

The location offered was picturesque and peaceful so close to the Inn's restaurant, and the river. It also was by nature.

We had a lovely time enjoying the cozy Standard Queen Room and the incredible breakfast with fresh coffee from the kitchen Keurig. The spa services were a bonus, and I especially loved the serene garden area for relaxing walks. Just a heads up, the prices for the regular breakfast were a bit on the high side, but the Sunday brunch was absolutely worth it! 😊

It was fairly clean, and the people were excellent. The setting was comfortable, close to a river and wall. It also was in the area. Really liked staying there, I would recommend the hotel.
The staff - some of them were not very friendly.

The Benmiller Inn & Spa is a total delight for all your senses, set in the mos delightful setting. You really feel as if you had stepped out of the hustle and bustle of the world into a serene oasis of heavenly delights. You are alone without being alone, everything you need is right there in lovely details. I just loved the mill paraphenalia used throughout - especially the courtyard with the gear window in the wall overlooking the water.
Actually, no complaints. Observations only. I loved the courtyard with casement windows and french door that opened onto it. However there should be screens, and the windows could be cleaned and greased. The little kitchen area a true delight - but no coffee machine, only coffee - vital to my morning health. The bed was cozy for one, but sunk in the middle, perhaps new mattresses in future. Or change bed frame. I loved book on history that was in room, but would have loved to be able to know price and purchase one. A bit more choice for room service would have been delightful too. Just a bit more - nothing elaborate. A map showcasing properties could be added too and perhaps more about the beautiful nature area around buildings. A heritage plant glossary?? Some info on birds could be incorporated into that. It is a little spot of heaven so capitlize on it. Post cards to send to people - some pictures. Heck - I have all kinds of marketing ideas for you - and would love to share anytime. I was totally thrilled with my stay and can't wait to come back.

We had an amazing group vacation! The relaxing vibe and comfortable rooms made it ideal for our getaway. We enjoyed some great meals at nearby restaurants and spent our evenings by the fire pit. Just a heads up , the building could use some updates, but the charm of the place makes it worth it.
The carpets in the common areas definitely needed a good cleaning, which took away from the overall experience.

The pool was very clean, and I loved the cozy atmosphere throughout the place. It's tucked away and seemed like a hidden gem. The jacuzzi was blissful, great for unwinding after a long day! The riverfront view from my room was fine, definitely a highlight.
